Dave Pell, the great jazz architect and co-sculptor of the "West Coast" sound in the late 1940's and throughout the 50's will be featured and the honored guest on the "Pulin4Jazz.org" internet radio program today October 17, 2015 at 12 noon Pacific.  A nice opportunity to hear Dave explain the when, why, and how this new and unique sound unfolded in jazz history, and all the contributors to this important & historic phase of jazz!  Lots of great tracks from Dave's Octet and Big Band will be played, plus a few never before heard!  Don't miss this show!!
